Numbers You Need to Know for January 23, 2019
Happy Tuesday! We hope you had plenty of rest during the three day weekend, because we are back and ready to give you some numbers you need to know for the short week!
Here's what you need to know for Tuesday:
The approval rating of UBS ($NYSE:UBS) CEO Sergio Ermotti as of today on the employer review website Glassdoor. Ermotti went on the record to say that a successor to his position won't come for several years, doing so in the face of reports that the company is shopping for a replacement (he did, however, state that he isn't immortal). We covered the current situation at UBS, including a drastic drop in hiring, here.
The amount of money the EU charged Mastercard ($NYSE:MA), as the credit card company prevented merchants from finding better rates from banks and raking in profit. Also, ICYMI, Mastercard changed its logo, which now looks like a very clean Venn Diagram.
The percentage decrease in job openings at Snap ($NYSE:SNAP) from November 29 to January 16. We profiled the company as it nosedives to begin 2019, and if you haven't already read it, check it out here.
